    1. hey Democrats, who could blame you for driving Trump insane with phony allegations and gratuitous insults?

Well, Republicans would, of course, without shame.

But I still think it's the way to go with someone and his backers and Republican Party hacks and all the amoral idiots who will support the  worst, most incompetent, destructive, shallow, misguided, ignorant president in history.

Michael Bennet and all D officials: Stone up.

Don’t let this become our normal politics in what was, up ’til now, the world’s greatest democracy.

Show your fellow citizens you take the liberty enshrined on that fragile paper with the seriousness of the lives already given to defend it.

Show voters you are able to stand for the most basic and profound principles that ever needed defending.

Stand against the Corrupt Hordes of Republican Officials who have proven they could not care less about the issues they pretend to be against that only seem to matter when a Democrat is involved.

  1. Bennet comes out in favor of higher corporate profits and higher costs for Colorado citizens

Yes, that’s right, a Republican-Democratic bipartisan majority could have passed a budget measure supporting the importation of low-cost prescription drugs from Canada, but we couldn’t get enough Democratic votes.

Here are the amazing “Democrats” that voted against this proposal:

    • Bennet (D-CO)
    • Booker (D-NJ)
    • Cantwell (D-WA)
    • Carper (D-DE)
    • Casey (D-PA)
    • Coons (D-DE)
    • Donnelly (D-IN)
    • Heinrich (D-NM)
    • Heitkamp (D-ND)
    • Menendez (D-NJ)
    • Murray (D-WA)
    • Tester (D-MT)
    • Warner (D-VA)

And here I thought bipartisanship was Bennet's highest goal. I knew he was being so quiet for a reason…………

    1. Atrios treads where CPols never will

We spent the aughts trying to get horrible Democrats to not be quite as horrible, and the media covering the whole thing to not be so horrible. If we couldn't stop the horrible things we could maybe at least stop the Democrats from owning all of them. Saving them (and us) from themselves was a big part of it. I didn't know if we could stop Republicans from privatizing Social Security (we did! yay us!) but we had to do our best to make sure it wasn't all bipartisany. It's the usual "if everyone is to blame, then no one is" combined with the Democrats' love of running on the slogan, "Not quite as evil as the other guys!"

This all buried in some legislative procedural stuff in the Senate, but basically last night 13 Democrats in the Senate voted against allowing cheaper drug imports from The People's Republic of Canadia.

      Some hope you don't notice.

And some don't care if you notice.

Which is Sen. MB? Which is CPOLS?

    2. Yep…a rogues gallery of corporate-loving, so-called, Democrats. Every one of them should be challenged vigorously in a primary when they next face election.

Did Thurston offer up a reason for opting to keep prices and profits high?

        1. Honest? As in, tells the truth and doesn't lie? Since when did that matter to you? Trump tells more lies before lunch than most politicians tell in a lifetime. IOKIYAR

      1. My guess is that he was just trying to keep us all safe.

Based on this list, I expect he'll also try to keep us safe from Canadian stocks and bonds.
