      1. It’s unfortunate, but anyone who’d willingly join the Log Cabin Republicans can’t be surprised at that.  In the words of Aesop’s snake, “You knew what I was when you picked me up“.

  1. Time’s up, put down yer shanks. GA teachers sentencing this week, ( 1st offense I would surmise) facing serious time, unlike the brotherhood of bankers who remain at large.

Gawd, this country sucks. Google it, remember Google is your friend, that records every search till eternity, to be sold to Big & Little brothers. ( My friends don’t rat me out, BTW)  And I use Startpage, which doesn’t record IP like the Stasi zombie.

Readin, Writing, & racketeering  Georgia teachers fudged big time student test scores, charged under RICO act. Shoulda known better, yes, they didn’t need jail time to learn their lesson.

  2. I paid my taxes this year, not happily, but resolutely. I do love this country and support its highest ideals and its most mundane duties. The illusive goal of a true democracy, where money doesn’t buy politicians, but good roads and sewers, where we argue over whether to invest $100 or $200 Billion in solar and wind, not over whether 2 people should get a civil marriage license, seems closer and further away at any given time of day.

But I’ll still pay my taxes, my “dues”, my “fees”, my fair share to keep it running.

Does Doug Bruce support America? Do David Koch, Charles Koch, Bill Koch of Colorado believe in a free and diverse populace where each citizen is of equal “value”? Do they support the messy democracy we have, or do they like things a little more controlled? Do we all believe in our society’s highest ideals, or even what those ideals may still be?

    They are all Republican.

Can we work with the Doug Bruce Republicans, the Koch Brother Republicans, the Limbaugh/Levin/Rosen Republicans to achieve mutually beneficial goals?

Can we be BIPARTISAN with any of those who believe what Doug and David and Dr. Chaps and their fellow Republicans believe?

  3. Can we work with the Doug Bruce Republicans, the Koch Brother Republicans, the Limbaugh/Levin/Rosen Republicans to achieve mutually beneficial goals?

No…Republicans, who claim to worship a God, actually worship money…those who rise to the top of the money heap typically are the most fervent worshippers of same…and they don’t like to lose.

  4. Denver “2015” Auditors Election

O’Brien was approved by the Colorado Legislator to be the State Auditor 12 years. He has guided a large department of people to conduct 750 State audits. Saving the state $200,000,000. He has been a licensed CPA in the state since 1974.  Look at his web site, seeing all of these facts, O’Brien has the leadership and experience for the best auditor for our city.                                                                                                 I don’t see any Auditing or Accounting experience in the background of Nevitt. He keeps saying “none of the others have”.  Noting Nevitt has been on the City Council for 8 years, how can he conduct an audit of the Council with out it being a conflict of interest? He has accepted money from devlopers that are chosen by the Council.

Watching the two debates, Nevitt stumbles his way with his answers to the questions. He clearly has no idea how to run this office.

Mr. O’Brien is also running as an Independent.
