Good thing we’re not getting spanked
We, I assume, means the Red Sox?
Something that would have been more obvious if we were in person 🙂
They just wanted to make sure they won the Series when MNF was in town. No Worries.
They had some good seasons but then choked when they got to the Super Bowl.
Then again last night was only one game…..there are six more to go.
At least the pitching staff does. The batting lineup looked better, but with that pitcher and that Boston crowd I wouldn’t have expected more out of them. But the pitchers – jeebus…
There are young adults who were little kids when the bronocs went to that superbowl…and they still can’t forget…
I’m sure the Broncos’ 80s futility was part and parcel of other bits of popular culture but The Simpsons took many opportunities to drive that point home. So even if they weren’t alive then they know the joke.
Deep underdog. Lucky to be there. Loss yes, but the start of a great tradition.
I hear that Dick Cheney plans on attending one of the games in Denver. You may want to get to the game early to pass through metal detectors if this turns out to be true.
Rumor is they are going to release 7 doves to start off game 3, signifying the 7 games of the world series, and Cheney is going to attempt to shoot all of them down from the pitchers mound. Please don’t give him any Coors before the game.
Rocks lose one game and everyone is throwing in the towel.
Hell no.
And it ain’t over now…
to see who won! 🙂
Last night they didn’t get blown out at least. AND, they will be back in Coors Field Saturday night. Hopefully the pendulum is swinging back in favor of the Rocks.
