Joe Whitcomb’s campaign for State Senate will be reporting contributions of $6,700
This is a very strong number for a Senate race, and surprising for a first time candidate in his first quarter. This gives him more cash on hand than previous Democrat, Curt Williams, had at any time in his entire 2004 run.
Whitcomb’s Republican opponent has not reported his numbers for the quarter, but at the end of last quarter, the Republican’s bank account went from around $1800 to slightly less than $2000, on about $200 of net raising.
Whitcomb has not yet held a ‘kick off’ benefit event for his campaign, but it already looks like his fundraising potential is strong.
I am a staffer for Joe Whitcomb’s campaign, but not it’s official spokesperson. For full details please see the upcoming press release.

Joe Whitcomb is an impressive newcomer. Joe has already raised $7000 he has lined up three major union endorsements and the support of John Soper and Gil Reyes who are very popular in Adams County.
Joe has the look and feel of a winner. We need to get rid of Senator Shawn Mitchell and Joe is the guy to do it
