I’m still basically on blog hiatus, but I wanted to pass this on. Are you interested in fixing up a brownfield near you? Curious what the heck a brownfield actually is? Then head on over to a meeting of the Voluntary Cleanup Advisory Board on Saturday in Denver for its workshop.
At the workshop, community organizers, the Colorado Department of Health and Environment, the Colorado Attorney General’s officer and the federal EPA will tell folks how they can have a say in clean ups of old industrial sites in their communities.
Find out the details about the event here – and remember, this is a non-ideological kind of thing. Progressive environmentalists are (obviously) into it, but so is President Bush.
