Romney Names Colorado Finance Team

  • by: Colorado Pols

Republican Presidential contender Mitt Romney announced his Colorado fundraising squad today, and it’s a veritable who’s who of the state GOP establishment.

Mitt Romney’s Colorado finance team – announced Wednesday – includes prominent GOP players in the state, including former Gov. Bill Owens; Attorney General John Suthers; U.S. Sen Wayne Allard; oilman Bruce Benson and wife Marcy Benson; lobbyist Maria Garcia Berry; and businessmen Doug Robinson and Mark Falcone.

  1. There’s nothing new here, Pols.  Anyone who has been paying attention has seen these names again and again on the invitations.  And as to the quality of these names? Well, Owens Benson and Beauprez are batting zero.

  2. I can see Tancredo declining to support Romney at this time, but what of Lamborn and Musty?  And even though he’s not currently a member of the state’s Congressional delegation, B.S. does have aspiration of returning to D.C.  Is he remaining neutral in the presidential race?

    1. no matter who the nominee is BS needs him to come out and campaign for/with hi. Best to not offend anyone you might need in a big way this time next year
