After a week of silence and presumably careful deliberation on this, the most pressing issue facing our country today (at least in the eyes of Dr. James Dobson, Marilyn Musgrave, and soon-to-be ex-Senator Rick Santorum), President Bush announced that he was “happy” for Mary Cheney and Heather Poe, as they await the birth of their child this spring.
He also said that Mary Cheney was a “loving soul” who would make a “good mother.” This is one of those extremely rare occasion when I find my uncomfortably in agreement with something which George W. Bush said.
There may be a couple of people in Colo. Spgs. will disagree with what Shrub has said.
I’m agnostic. But I am a strong supporter of Christmas and I believe in Santa Claus – he’s delivered every year.
So Merry Christmas all – and have fun shopping.
