Hand-Deliver Those Absentee Ballots

  • by: Colorado Pols

If you have an absentee ballot still sitting on your kitchen table, make sure you hand-deliver it to your county clerk’s office. It’s too late to mail your ballot because it must arrive at the clerk’s office by 7:00 p.m. tomorrow – it doesn’t matter if it is postmarked before Tuesday if it doesn’t arrive.

  1. doesn’t cover.

    1) Sent my ballot back without the inner privacy envelope, any problem?

    NOPE

2.) I lost my yellow return envelope, what do I do?

Go in to the County Clerk and get a new yellow envelope and then submit the ballot. Ballots submitted in any other form of envelope will not be counted.

3.) I mailed my absentee Friday, how do I check if the ballot was received on time? If I’m worried, can I submitt a provisional vote to make sure?

El Paso County says they will not provide updates. More importtantly, if you vote provisional and the absentee ballot has been received and counted, the County considers that multiple voting and vote fraud.
