As if Lil Ricky didn’t have enough going against him from the start (i.e., substantive policy embarrassments like abolishing social security and the teenage border patrol), those warm embraces he received from Shrub and Denny Hastert (at least Mark Foley didn’t hug him), he’s had to deal with the snickering about his marital status for the past four years.
That’s right, Both Ways Bob first raised THAT issue in the ’02 GOP primary.
Now we learn that he has a girlfriend (perhaps genuine, or perhaps to keep up appearances), he takes her on this junket to Panama (the junket being ethically questionable in itself; the hotel sleeping arrangements being morally questioned by the religious fanatics in the GOP).
And now we learn that the girl friend is working at Rick’s old department in the state govt.
I wonder when the next shoe is going to fall.
Must be like Holtzman’s “fiance”–the wedding postponed forever…

Seymour would probably have to lavish expensive gifts upon his new grandchild, as well as a little something for the new mom and dad…….
You’d think a bright guy like O’Donnel would understand ethics and integrity mean a lot to the independent voters who decide elections.
Fortunately, he’s shown his true colors, and those who care about integrity and ethics can vote against him.
Problem is Perlmutter’s got his own problems, having sponsored legislation that financially benefited his relatives.
Some people apparently have been on the take all their lives and see nothing wrong with it.
Maybe he just was practicing going on junkets. Don’t all congressmen take junkets?
