specifically “True The Vote,” fronted by Tea Party nutter Catherine Englebrecht. Luckily though, no one in Colorado gives that organization any credibility…except, wait, Secretary of State Scott Gessler, who speaks regularly at their functions.

They do it because they know there are no consequences. 0.9% of the population can’t vote anybody out of office for this.

This non-event occurred in a predominantly African American precinct so it’s kind of hard to see it as racist. It was two guys with some neo-Black Panther wannabe group, not even connected to the original Black Panthers and who seemed not to even know what point it was they wanted to make. Hardly anybody seemed intimidated. Is this really the best Jeffco Rs can come up with?

Is this part of the Republicans GOTV? Part of their voter intimidation? I don’t know, but the last time I checked the vast majority of Voters in Jeffco were mail ballot voters. Please, please Republicans volunteer for this and waste your time. Hahahahahahahaha. I guess they are drinking the kool-aid even in Jeffco now.

The demographics in this country as a whole are heading towards whites being a minority. Meanwhile, the Republicans:
– Put out this crap in Jeffco.
– Have a county office in Virginia that proudly refuses to take down Facebook photos of Obama as a witch doctor and gorilla
– Have Mitt Romney go on Univision in brownface (OK, that last one was likely unintentional, but it all adds into the perception)
– Have a convention featuring all angry white men during the biggest prime-time period
– Have “Macaca” Allen as their Virginia Senate candidate
The list goes on and on, both locally and nationally. They are just so damned dumb it’d be funny at this point – if it weren’t also so sad.
