      1. According to Michael Wolff’s new book, Rudy’s flatulence problems occur frequently and not just in elevators.

There is one repugnant account of a meeting at Trump’s HQ in Roslyn, Virginia, after the election where the attendees had to endure the smell of rotting garbage (which was no longer being picked up) combined with Rudy’s farts.

  1. RIP to Governor Dick Lamm.  His class was one of my favorites in college and I will really miss him.  My prayers are with his family.

  2. Just saw that the Department of Justice determined the IRS had to hand Donald J. Trump's tax forms to the House Committee requesting them.

The DOJ’s Office of Legal Counsel in a written opinion said that the House Ways and Means Committee had made a request with a legitimate legislative purpose to see Trump’s tax returns, with a stated objective of assessing how the IRS audits presidents’ tax returns.

Seems like that opinion might also justify a request for some other requests, such as the returns of a daughter and son-in-law who were "Special Assistants" in the White House, too.

  3. You may have believed that "The gubmint best keep its filthy mitts off my Medicare" was a relic of those million-teabilly Hoveround regattas that occurred in the wake of the U.S. electing a black man as POTUS, but:

Today’s Anniversary of Medicare & Medicaid reminds us to reflect on the critical role these programs have played to protect the healthcare of millions of families. To safeguard our future, we must reject Socialist healthcare schemes.

~ Elise Stefanik, member of Congress and blithering goddamn idiot
