They’d expect to see more cars in the parking lot if the pandemic was real
How people choose what to believe, or how they define what they know vs. what they believe makes me wonder how we ever made it this far

The only way these chuds would believe that their ICUs are full of COVID patients is if they saw it on Fox News. Fox should do everyone a public service and film it with patients’ faces blurred.
They might also believe if one of their own loved ones was hospitalized. That’s what finally happened in the Dakotas- it only took 67,000 cases and 674 deaths in South Dakota, and the highest COVID mortality rate in the world in North Dakota.
The folks running Fox feel they are already living dangerously, what with being first to call Arizona for Biden and having some of their serious news people refer to Biden as the president-elect.
Asking them to document crowded ICUs and showing people dying may be a bit too much for them.
I've heard that sometimes they are such carefree daredevils that they go down the stairs and don't even hold the handrail.

“flaunt” may actually be correct. Anti-masking is like cos-play. It is an identity signaling performance where the goal is to walk into a store un-masked and then scream at the cashiers and throw the candy display to the ground.
