Libertad's Stay in Penalty Box Extended to 5 Days

  • by: Colorado Pols

We were able to verify that Libertad, who was sent to the Pols Penalty Box on Wednesday for 2 days, attempted to resume posting on this site using the alias “WaWie.” We have banned this account and extended Libertad’s Penalty Box time to 5 days for this infraction–obviously, we can’t allow people to subvert the Penalty Box system if it’s going to be effective.

      1. But that isn’t local. And PPC has it’s own problems. For one, it’s not very comment friendly (no separate threads) and you can’t even post diaries.

      2. It would be like Pols, but I would control which diaries get promoted so that it would be a more balanced website. I’ll get on it after the election.

        1. For every conservative post, you’d have a Nazi post. Fifty-fifty, what could be fairer?

And PLEASE do start your own.   Narcissist.com hasn’t been registered yet, to my knowledge.

And you’d be certain to blog whore — so you’d get banned from our site!

Love it, ego boy.  Enjoy the four posts a year you’d get from other than your own sock puppets.

          1. Narcissist.com would have been funny just to tweak you guys. Whatever, old fart, if you had a site you’d get less interest than Colorado Confluence.

                1. because if you do know, then you know that he would have a pretty well trafficked site. Yet you said that he wouldn’t.

As you tried to admonish me elsewhere, think before you type.

    1. Five days from Libertad’s original suspension last Wednesday means his access will be restored on Monday morning. In the context of this discussion, to be clear, that is prior to election day. Sorry, as always, if this complicates any conspiracy theories.

Most of you are aware that Libertad is a frequent offender for the type of infraction that resulted in his original Penalty Boxing. The subsequent use of a sockpuppet to subvert our controls necessitated the extension, and not any other consideration. If our enforcement of rules that we have consensus from readers need to be enforced are subverted, nothing we do to preserve the quality of this forum will be effective.

Inferences otherwise are stupid, but hopefully the fact that they are not being deleted or censored will tell our audience what it needs to know.

      1. So you don’t do anything about all the things I have pointed out because there is not “consensus”? Now wonder sxp isn’t in the box with Libertad.

          1. Except the beej grew up in the protected environment of his home school. So he mostly tattled on himself. There we find the roots of his bizarre amalgam of self-loathing and an unwarranted superiority complex.

            1. It’s because they stereotype homeschooled kids. The reality is far different from their little caricature (actually, you could say the same thing about tea partiers or anyone on the right). The fact of the matter is that most homeschoolers are tremendously clever and therefore wield incredible influence in our society. After all, they grow up learning real world stuff instead of worrying about who’s dating who and what the latest fashions are at school. Dems might actually get somewhere if they would engage them instead of dismissing them.

              1. won the last three general elections (last four in Colorado)?

It’s because they stereotype home-schooled kids.

Of course there’s diversity among homes-chooled kids, a fact you don’t take into account when you instead stereotype them in a far more favorable light.

Let’s assume you’re “tremendously clever.” How, then, do you account for your paradoxical self-loathing and unwarranted sense of superiority? Home-schooling sounded like a good bet, but I’m open to your explanation.

                1. and voters are now punishing that dishonesty.

                  A) I don’t know where you get the idea that I have self-loathing, and

                  B) My sense of superiority is quite warranted, because I know I have the backing of the American people. Politically speaking, of course. Plus, it gets attention on this blog, which is helpful to me.

And when did you stop beating your wife?

                  1. even (or especially) negative attention, is an indication of a fundamental self-loathing.

They teach all the kids this stuff in real school. You would have learned how to deal with it earlier.

                    1. It was a useful tool for the election season. I think everybody would agree that I made a big impact at Pols.
