Dan Maes Raises $32,000

Republican Dan Maes reported raising $32,722 in the last fundraising period, which isn’t going to cover his mileage expenses, let alone get him on TV.

Maes now has $23,339 cash on hand, which is, well, not good.

  1. So, with less cash on hand than his fine…yup I think he’s done.  Anyone wanna start a pool as to when he bows out of the race?  He really got the Tea Party people energized here in CO though which was nice to see.

    1. At this point, he might as well just keep going — maybe lightning strikes and he wins, and then it becomes a lot easier to pay his fines.

        1. If Maes’ troubles had happened three months ago, we could definitely see him withdrawing from the race. But not now — not when the Primary is only a month away. You don’t run a race all the way up to the finish line and then decide to quit.

  2. Dan Maes had a better organization, gave a better speech and got more votes than Scott McInnis did at the State Assembly.

Hick wins by 20 over either Maes or McInnis
