Good morning …
Washington Post is concerned:
Apparently, not everything submitted to the FCC came from a real person. Out of 22 million comments submitted to the FCC on net neutrality, "Nearly 8 million comments in support of net neutrality appeared to have been created at FakeMailGenerator.com." Just to even things up, "Yet the most sophisticated campaign, and the most insidious, was by all indications carried out by at least two strategy firms working on behalf of a broadband industry group." Why was it sophisticated? "They exploited data stolen from tens of millions of Americans in a huge 2016 hack to do it."
The result: "Governments pay attention to comments despite their corruption or ignore them because they have become too polluted to trust. Either way, real citizens who cared enough to speak up are disregarded."
Anyone surprised to be "disregarded"?
Latest Suffolk/USA Today poll in Iowa: Biden 18, Warren 17, Edgyboots 13. Very old white guy Sanders 9 pct. Harris Steyer Gabbard Klobuchar all bunched about 3 pct.
It's a three way race in Iowa just now.
How is it possible that Bernie has dropped to 9%?
He received the coveted endorsement from AOC on Saturday giving him the backing of one-half The Squad plus Michael Moore.
The Bern surging!
The Burn is out of oxygen. But remember, this poll is just Iowa.
I would think he would be doing better all around. Iowans like to get free stuff, too. Look at all the farmers hurt by Trump's trade war and receiving compensation from the feds.
And undecided was at 29% — indicating there is a lot of flexibility in the results.
"Viable" candidates in the Iowa caucus will need to be AT LEAST 15% — and with precincts that have fewer people attending the caucus last election and other criteria, viability can rise up much higher. If no one reaches viability, uncommitted delegates go to the next round of selection.
