In a poll of 500 likely Colorado voters conducted March 4, former congressman McInnis led Denver Mayor Hickenlooper 48 to 42 percent. The automated poll had a margin of error of plus or minus 4.5 percent.

Men in Colorado favor McInnis 53% to 40%, but the candidates are tied among women. Voters not affiliated with either major party prefer the Republican 50% to 35%.
Twenty-eight percent (28%) of Colorado voters hold a very favorable opinion of Hickenlooper, while 13% view him very unfavorably.
McInnis is viewed very favorably by 17% and very unfavorably by 10%.
At this point in a campaign, Rasmussen Reports considers the number of people with strong opinions more significant than the total favorable/unfavorable numbers.

is beyonds me. The methodology is poor, the sample is not articulated for voter distribution. For all we know this could represent Colo Springs.
