  1. Dear Media,

The conservative pundit class keeps saying the reason the media keeps reporting on Palin is that the liberals are afraid of her and therefore are trying to tear her down.

Well here is the real news flash.  Nobody on the left (or middle) is scared of Palin.  She is a train wreck of the worst type of American politician.  Namely she is a jingoistic air head quitter.  After today, PLEASE no more coverage of her.  She is off the stage, her 15 minutes mercifully over.  Can we get our collective head back to more important issues other than that twitter quitter?

All my fellow Colorado Pols posters let us do our part.  Let us have fun with her for today then let her and her myopic, naive views sink to the bottom of the political dustbin where they belong.  The nation (and Alaska) is MUCH better off without her!

    1. or, whatever.

I am guessing she’ll get a talking head deal, or she’ll do a reality show, or both.  She’s well suited for that kind of mindless TV/media crap, not for being in any sort of position of responsibility.

    2. Please, Republicans, don’t make her run for President in 2012! And don’t nominate her! And don’t give her lots of money and volunteer for her campaign instead of Senate and House races! Especially not that, anything but that!

    3. with almost all of the ethics complaints being filed against Ms. Palin by fellow Alaska Rs, she still blames the liberal media and Washington.

Now she’s also complaining about Hollywood starlets.  What really takes nerve though, are her more patriotic than thou statements, considering that her husband was a member of a secessionist Alaska party and that she made a nice video welcoming their convention to her state.

Don’t know what would be less patriotic than belonging to or welcoming a group advocating that your state leave the union so that you will not  have to be a US citizen anymore. So maybe “in honor of the soldiers” she ought to kick her traitor first dude out on his ass or at least make him apologize, denounce, etc.

  2. Think about this.  Michele Bachmann, Sarah Palin…  A little wine- perhaps a joint…  They relax a bit…  Maybe get comfortable…

Oh you KNOW uptight GOP women are FREAKS!!!

  3. VA Medical Imaging Reaches Record Level, Aids in Veterans’ Treatment

VistA Imaging, the medical and health care imaging system used in Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) medical centers, attained over one billion stored images in January this year, according to the department.

Using digital images makes remote diagnosis and treatment possible and permits in-home monitoring of some patients’ conditions. It eliminates travel for patients needing follow-up care and makes services available in medically underserved areas.

Storing images on magnetic and optical disks also provides both long-term access and recovery in disasters. Following Hurricane Katrina in 2006, 5.4 million VA images — nearly 100 percent — were recovered from VistA Imaging at the New Orleans VA Medical Center, even though the optical servers had been underwater. These images could still be viewed remotely from any VA site and that capability enabled VA to continue providing treatment to Veterans displaced by Katrina when they visited another VA facility.

Folks, this software is $66 to anyone who wants to download it. It was designed, written and deployed by the VA…not EDS, not HP, and not IBM. It is the highest rated software for medical application, as rated by medical professionals.

If this is what Gov’t health care can do, what are we waiting for?

    1. That’s almost certainly a copyright tag, as in the “В©2009” you see at the bottom of Google.  Unless Google is also running for something, in which case they have David’s vote 🙂
