  1. Nero fiddled while Rome burned. Governor Donuts shows off his swimmer's build at the beach while New Jersey steams…..

Remember, this was the man who offered to be our president. And when that failed, Veep. And when that failed, White House chief of staff.

Thank God he left the shirt on.

  2. WOTD: Let's fix Obamacare.

Republicans don't know how to do Policy, which our local trolls demonstrate daily.

Charles Gaba, who came to fame simply counting and adding up Obamacare enrollment, has come up with a list of 20 items to improve the ACA. These are listed in an article "If I Ran The Zoo: 20 repairs/improvements for Obamacare 2.0".

    1. I have a better idea……

Since most of Trump's base apparently likes the Affordable Care Act ("A.C.A.") but hates Obamacare, why not simply enact legislation repealing "Obamacare" but retaining the A.C.A. along with those necessary repairs and adjustments to the law….

And for good measure, they could brand the A.C.A. "Trumpcare" so he can pat himself on the back and reassure his base that those with pre-existing conditions keep their coverage and the low income wage earners can stay on Medicaid.

    1. 14 pct. is a gap which will take a lot of Crotch brother $$$ to close.

Maybe Corey can get a special dispensation from McConnell to vote "no" like Coffman got from Ryan.

  3. I have a suggestion. "Con Man Corey" clearly isn't resonating. Yes the politically active love it, but we've got their votes.

What about "Smiling Corey"? I think it will resonate because that's his constant public face. But it's a subtle reminder that his answer to everything is a smile, not any useful action.

It also has a great history.

    1. Senator Spokesmodel

      noun

      1.

an attractive or otherwise appealing person who is hired to speak on behalf of a company or product, as in a commercial.

  4. There were several verified Carnholio sightings over the weekend, so a severe shillstink  warning is in effect through Wednesday.  Trumpstink is also expected on the east coast and Internet.

Stay upwind my friends.  We have three and a half years to go.

    1. Wow. A great reminder that resistance is, and has always been, patriotic.

We're going to have a big Dems presence in the town 4th of July parade tomorrow. I'll be rocking my red, white, and blue, and my "Save Medicaid!" sign.

          1. In Gerbils-speak, patriotism is what Trump learned from Putin — follow orders, don't ask questions, and beat up anyone I order you to.

        1. After surviving the #BowlingGreenMassacre, Frederick had this to say about resistance and patriotism. #NeverRemember

“Those who profess to favor freedom and yet depreciate agitation, are people who want crops without ploughing the ground; they want rain without thunder and lightning; they want the ocean without the roar of its many waters. The struggle may be a moral one, or it may be a physical one, or it may be both. But it must be a struggle. Power concedes nothing without a demand. It never did and it never will.”  ~ Frederick Douglass

        2. Since the Republicans refused to accept the results of the 2008 election of President Obama, you agree the Republicans were unpatriotic. Right?

        3. The election was for  some candidates, not to change our constitution, our laws, our norms, and our system of government.  That we can't accept, and you shouldn't be asking us to.

      1. Hey Vger (and anyone in north east CO) If you can make it to Brush tomorrow,  by 10, we'll reserve a haybale on a flatbed for you to ride with the North East Co Dems in the 4th of July Parade. It'll be a blast!

You can rep your own county, if you like, sing along with Woody Guthrie tunes, have BBQ afterwards.

    2. Willies' boys will be appearing soon at our new ampitheatre at Las Colonias Park in GJ. I will get back to you with the dates and times….

                1. I'm reminded of how Moldy Anus was wigging out about Obama allowing those 5-year old Syrian refugee children into the country. Fluffy was afraid one those of kids was going to sneak into his house and slit his throat in the middle of the night.

  5. For our trolls reading pleasure.  Hey, look!  The Presidents Senior Advisor cavorting with Democrats.  I'm pretty sure this isn't how you drain the swamp.

Here's Everyone Who's Partying With Jared And Ivanka in the Hamptons Right Now, Besides Chuck Schumer

I have to wonder what our friend and Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer is doing cavorting with Jared Kushner and Ivanka Trump? At a party hosted by Lally Weymouth, the former owner of the Washington Post and currently a senior associate editor there? I also wonder what the other dozens of journalists, employed not just by the Washington Post, but such outlets as Bloomberg and The Atlantic, are doing with this opportunity?

    1. All perfectly normal, right? A hostile foreign power has set up a propaganda outlet in our capitol to push back against our "unfair coverage". But this is fine! Nothing to see here, move along.

      1. Funny, I was just thinking the other day what a great SNL cold opening it would be — DJT versus Wolf Blitzer, cage match . . .

        So much material . . .

Ivanka and Kellyanne as card girls; Spicer's mouth as Trump's spit bucket; Geraldo Rivera and Neal Patrick Harris as ringside coaches, cuz' why not?  McConnell and Pelosi as cut men; Putin, Angela Merkel, and Dennis Rodman as the judges . . .

. . . The tag line:  Rumble of the Dumbells — Whoever dies, America Wins!
