The vacancy committee in House District 23 (Lakewood, Golden) will meet tonight to select a replacement for retiring Rep. Gwyn Green.
Unlike recent vacancies in Denver, which attracted numerous candidates for seats that are essentially safe, Max Tyler is the only expected candidate to be voted upon tonight. A small business owner and longtime Democratic activist, Tyler cleared the field early as some potential candidates chose not to run and others decided against challenging the popular former House District chair.

Did a lot of work for the JeffCo party and an all around good guy.
The people of HD23 will be well served by Max.
Once the stomping grounds of proud RINOs like Ramey Johnson but alas, they were hunted to extinction.
Tyler won.
