My dad’s on a road trip to Florida, and my mom moved back there in March. Meanwhile, I spent the last 3 days getting drenched in rain.

When I was in CO recently I didn’t have time to make a trip into the mountains, but it’s the looking at that I really love. One morning I parked on Oxford St. in Englewood, there is a great view of the snow covered peaks. Just sat and looked for ten minutes.

I used to go to Siesta Key when I was a kid. Loved it. But as I got older, I only went around sunset to enjoy the quiet.
Here, I live too far away to go up to the high country. It’s a shame, though. THey are magnificent if I stop long enough to appreciate them.
I got the letter from UCD today. I was accepted into the Poli Sci program there.
Now I just have to figure out how to pay for it without loans. Ugh.
After I got my master’s, I couldn’t find a job at McDonald’s so I went to work as a clerk at the Kroger Sav-On pharmacy. I always said, if I got a doctorate I could work at the customer service booth.
Never made any money until I got the JD.
