Peggy Lamm Raises $93,000

We’ve been wondering why Democrat Peggy Lamm was taking so long to announce her fundraising numbers, and often when you wait until the last minute on a Friday it means that you aren’t proud of your results. That’s clearly the case here. Lamm just filed $92,926 raised, with $82,207 on-hand.

The bottom line? Lamm is in DEEP trouble in CD-7. Nevermind the fact that she and her supporters were foolish to be setting high expectations when they knew the money wasn’t coming in that well. The fact that she is more than $100k behind Democrat Ed Perlmutter puts her in a very tough position. Lamm needs EMILYs List to have a chance in this race, and EMILYs List isn’t going to pay attention to her now unless she raises at least triple that in Q3. The noose is certainly tightening, and her “high-powered” staff of advisors should be running for cover.
