No surprise here, but The Greeley Tribune reports that State Representative Dale Hall will run for Republican Dale Owen’s seat when the latter finishes his last term in 2006. Owen is rumored to be considering doubling back and running for the state house again, taking on incumbent Democrat Jim Riesberg.
In Denver, in the only term-limited state house seat in the city, Democrat Alfredo Hernandez is expected to run for Representative Fran Coleman’s term-limited HD-1 seat. Hernandez is a deputy district attorney in Denver and is thus far the only rumored candidate on the Democratic side.
