This is the reason why John Flerlage is the prefect guy to take on Mike Coffman.
Republican Tom Tancredo represented South Jeffco in Congress for 10 years after first winning the seat in 1998. His successor, Aurora Republican Mike Coffman, has been in office for less than three months – and the potential challengers already are lining up.
One is John Flerlage, a South Jeffco Democrat who says he’s the only one who can go toe to toe against Coffman and win.

NO! Just because you announce early doesn’t mean you’ll win. He’ll just get 40% instead of 39% of the vote this time.
If that was true, then Brian Campbell will be beating Ed Perlmutter also.
The perfect reason, isn’t perfect at all
I disagree, Mike Coffman can be beaten. It will take someone who is starting this early and who draw strong support from every voting population.
John clearly can earn the support of the voters who look at the national security issue and normally shy away from the Democrat. It takes Coffman Advantage away because he cannot wrap himself in the only one who has served like he did last time.
Mike Miles ran for the U.S. Senate for like three years and got his brains beat in by Ken Salazar. Announcing early is utterly irrelevant.
And if you were considering that as a factor, David Canter filed to run against Coffman the day after the election. So he should be the favorite by that logic.
get any results?
Canter and Flerlage profiles are totally different. Which is the reason for the Primary season.
Primary season like Miles vs Salazar show how someone with the right profile can go on to win. There profiles were totally different and they ran totally different races. I am not sure Mike could have beatrn Coors but is a great guy… just not sure he could have won state wide.
It is obvious that you like Flerlage and that is impairing your vision on this race.
Flerlage will do better then Hank Eng…but, unless Obama can fix this economy and pick up a lot of steam by Novemeber there won’t be funds to spare for this race.
This isn’t 2008 again, this time the dems have to be defending and the GOP is going to be attacking
