    1. For all of our Librarian's bluster, the Democratic party isn't imploding.  Overnight Mrs. Clinton passed the < 2 million mark in the national popular vote.

The Rust Belt margins (if in fact they were 'margins' at all) were paper thin.  Yesterday's ruling by a Wisconsin court could be setting the stage for a Supreme Court decision on gerrymandering.

The one thing that will cause concern is if POTUS-elect shows up and starts to govern like a Democrat.  Who the hell knows? Lock her UP? Gone.  The Wall? Oh, we didn't really mean 'a wall'.  Get rid of ObamaCare on Day 1?  Well, ummm…not really.  The Alt-right?  He's not really looking for their support

On the other hand, he's set to scrap climate change research at NASA and will shift those dollars to 'deep space exploration' – even though an overwhelming majority of Americans are firmly in another camp.  He seems to be serious about a Muslim Registry and he believes the Laffer Curve is 'a thing'.  Bannon remains in the White House.  Establishment Republicans could turn on him.  (doubtful — he'll give them just enough time at the trough of federal dollars to keep them in line).

        Great point.

Dems should just keep on keepin' on.

        It's working.

There are still a few Dem public officials.

Don't stop until they are all out of office.

Hillary won about 300 out of 5,000 counties nationwide.

Why stop at 300, do I hear 200?

        1. Did you mean point or points? If the former, did you have a particular one in mind? Democrats will do just fine without any input from you.

          Enjoy your Thanksgiving Holidays…

        2. Hillary's popular majority is 2 million and growing.  Dems won majoruity of votes cast for house and senate.  Corrupt rotton borough system keeps Rs cling to power without mandate.  Sieg heil, ac/dc.

  1. Computer scientists urge Clinton campaign to challenge election results

The computer scientists believe they have found evidence that vote totals in the three states could have been manipulated or hacked and presented their findings to top Clinton aides on a call last Thursday.

I'm all for shutting up and figuring out how to work within the framework of a legitimately lost election. But there seems to be significant evidence of irregularities – including apparently two precincts in Wisconsin where hundreds more votes were reported than there were people registered.

    Rigged by whom?

  2. If the vegetables on your Thanksgiving table were harvested by people who were allowed to take bathroom breaks, paid and housed well, not children, and not constantly doused with carcinogenic pesticides, thank a union.

If you are able to buy wholesome food of any kind, thank a farmer.

If your turkey or ham was processed with inspector oversight so you don't get poisoned, thank a union and government regulation.

Take a moment, while you're bowing your head, and thank the Somali refugee or undocumented immigrant who will spend the rest of their life with carpal tunnel syndrome pain from slaughtering or packing meat at ever-higher speeds.

The President – elect will try to do everything he can do undermine existing food safety regulations and union rights. Buy organic, buy local, buy from people who care about food.

    Care about food.
