    1. you guys are just fucking sick. Limbaugh and Levin and the like have turned you into rabid robots thru their malignance and your ignorance. Andrew Carnegie and the Koch Bros. and this twerp who somehow figured out how to use a keyboard have very little in common.

Andrew Carnegie was born in Dunfermline, Scotland, and emigrated in 1848 to the United States with his very poor parents. Carnegie started work as a telegrapher and by the 1860s had investments in railroads, railroad sleeping cars, bridges and oil derricks. He accumulated further wealth as a bond salesman raising money for American enterprise in Europe. He built Pittsburgh's Carnegie Steel Company, which he sold to J.P. Morgan in 1901 for $480 million.[6] It became the U.S. Steel Corporation. After selling Carnegie Steel, he surpassed Rockefeller as the richest American for the next couple of years.[7]Carnegie devoted the remainder of his life to large-scale philanthropy, with special emphasis on local libraries, world peace, education and scientific research. With the fortune he made from business, he built Carnegie Hall and founded the Carnegie Corporation of New YorkCarnegie Endowment for International PeaceCarnegie Institution for ScienceCarnegie Trust for the Universities of ScotlandCarnegie Hero FundCarnegie Mellon University and the Carnegie Museums of Pittsburgh, among others.

      1. Andrew Carnegie was a great man.

I particularly enjoy the quote, attributable to him, "As I grow older, I pay less attention to what men say. I just watch what they do."

  1. Now that we're at Ann Coulter's Ideal of Democracy circa 1929, we ought to start shooting for the next logical step which would be a rerun of 1932. That may be ancient history, but it shouldn't be. And it could happen if Democrats finally let Andrew and team have the Corporate Whore gig to themselves.

Bernie was the only, ONLY, candidate to even talk to the Native Americans during the campaign cycle, he’s been out protesting with them and what the fuck has Obama done? “Delayed” the pipeline for “further review”. How about just telling the fuckers, "No, it's treaty land and a stupid idea. Your company has a horrific track record of pipeline spills. Move it."

…he could get out there with the protesters. Shine a huge light on the travesty, on the abuse.

HE COULD TAKE THE ENTIRE PRESS CORPS TO THE WATER PROTECTORS!

He’s not running for re-election. We already got our asses handed to us. But no, he sits there and let’s the clock run out while more and more people are hit with rubber bullets and water cannons.

You want to know why the Dems got our asses handed to us? BECAUSE OUR POLITICIANS NEVER FIGHT FOR A DAMN THING! They hem and haw, keep their powder dry and lose election after election. Get out there, be as obnoxious as the Republicans, throw their hypocrisy and lies back in their faces and maybe, just maybe, we win some seats back in 2018.

But all of them twiddling their thumbs while Native Americans get the shit kicked out of them again, not speaking out resoundingly, consistently about police violence, not going after the bankers after the housing market crashed, that shit is what makes people want to leave the party (or just not vote – same difference. -ed.)

After all, it’s just empty noise and corporate money these days if both parties sound and act and look the same.

You gotta believe in something besides "R's dumb. D's smart. Mongo no like R's. Mongo like D's.", cuz Mongo doesn't vote.

    Right, Jason, Alva, Alan?

    1. Typical from the Zappster. Don't have time now to read the entire article. But I can say, as a native born Hoosier, Muncie was already a pit back in the 1960s when I was growing up. Only thing going for it is the university (Ball State, with long time funding then by the Ball Corporation, now Ball Aerospace here in Colorado).

    1. Working class Trump voters are in for a helluva surprise if they think he isn't going to be on board with the GOP push to repeal Obamacare and by extension medicare and put us back in the dark ages where 30-40 mil Americans had ZERO health coverage and 100s of millions were subject to pre-existing condition loopholes that weeded them out of getting coverage.

Just like Trump University students found out they had been conned by the greatest snake oil salesman to walk the earth, so too will white working class Trump voters learn they have been conned out of their healthcare by Trump Presidency™
