1. U.S. Supreme Court leaves Ohio voting restrictions in place

   The U.S. Supreme Court on Tuesday refused to reinstate for the Nov. 8 general election Ohio's so-called Golden Week voting procedures, when people could register and cast ballots in the same week, that had been abolished by a Republican-backed law.

2. This shouldn't be surprising what with Dr Oz being nothing but a celebrity quack. In fact it's perfect Trumpism as usual….. from The Fix

   Here is an exchange between Oz and Fox News Radio host Brian Kilmeade that aired Tuesday:

   KILMEADE: What if there's some embarrassing things on there?

   OZ: Well, I bet you he won't release them.

   KILMEADE: Oh, it's still going to be his decision?

   OZ: It's his decision. You know, I — the metaphor for me is it's the doctor's office, the studio. So I'm not going to ask him questions he doesn't want to have answered.

   So, to review, Oz says Trump will publicize only the good parts of his medical report and that the interview will not include any questions Trump would not want to answer.

   1. Won't release medical records, won't release tax returns. And people still slobber over him like Pavlov's dogs.

      And there's other stuff that has been swept under the carpet, like an excellent article in the Wall Street Journal a couple weeks ago about Trump's alleged Mafia ties. Then last month, another well researched article in Bloomberg Business Week about how Trump has systematically bypassed the Cuban trade embargo. He really is a Teflon candidate thus far.

      1. Also that he's been getting tons of financing from Russians since American banks are no longer all that keen. That may explain his hating on all foreigners except Russians.

      2. Wouldn't it be nice of if all of his really serious issues got as much time on network and cable as HRC having a coughing fit.
