Oh noes! The invisible rogue staffer social media “hacker” — otherwise known as John Doe — may have struck again in Colorado!

We were recently forwarded a screen shot of a post that appeared on the Facebook page of the Larimer County Republicans on Saturday warning about President Obama’s nefarious policy forcing students across the country to “Pray in Muslim.” The post is no longer available on the Larimer GOP’s Facebook page, but thanks to a sharp reader you can see it yourself right here.

The since-deleted post links to a story at something called the Conservative Daily Post titled: “JUST IN: Obama Just Mandated These 5 Schools to Pray in Muslim, Make Sure YOUR Kids Do NOT Go Here.”

Yes, it really does say “Pray in Muslim.”

According to the Conservative Daily Post “story,” five schools in five different states are now requiring students to “Pray in Muslim.” One educator is even quoted in the story almost speaking full sentences:

“When you’re separated, it’s really hard to feel like you’re a part of the community,” assistant superintendent Marsha Baisch said. “You feel different, you feel other.”

We totally understand. Nobody ever wants to feel other.

And nobody should have to be forced to “Pray in Muslim” if they would prefer to “Pray in Christian” or “Pray in Jewish.”

If you want to maintain any sense of people as fundamentally fair and decent, do not go to the linked site and read the comments. I made that mistake so you don't have to.

  Did the article list the schools? Give a date for the picture? Explain how Obama had "mandated" anything in a school?
  
  I'm not curious enough to go look myself, but since Pseudonymous had been kind enough to make the mistake, I'd inquire.

    I read the article before the comments, so I had a chance to get the gist of the article before I blacked out on reaching the outer circles of the ninth ring of black helicopters and xenophobia. I was able to dip back into the crazy pool on my browser that blocks the comments.
    
    The schools are named:
    
    Desert View High School in Tuscon, Arizona
    All schools in Dearborn, Michigan
    Parkdale High School in Riverdale Maryland
    Carver Elementary School in San Diego
    Sir Robert Borden High School in New York
    
    The picture is not attributed, except for the caption, "Kids Engaging In Obama’s New “Cultural Immersion” School Program." I took the plunge again, and did a Google image search. In addition to dozens of batshit crazy sites using the same image for one form of hate or another, I found what likely is the original from an open house at a London mosque.
    
    How Obama arranged this is not discussed. Only that it is part of his master plan and that good white Christian girls were forced to pray in Muslim.

      It doesn't need to be discussed. It's axiomatic. Everything that has gone wrong in the world is traced back to Obama.
      
      And soon everything wrong in the world will be attributed to She-Whose-Name-Shall-Not-Be-Mentioned.

        Now that Obama is in his last days of presidency, it’s quite clear that he is moving to establish his “master plan.” This isn’t the first time we have heard about it. The closer we get to election day, the more it becomes clear just how true it is.

The real story here isn't the crazy article – there are always nut jobs around – but the fact that the Larimer County GOP saw fit to republish it, in a decision they apparently quickly regretted.

It shows how the Larimer County Republicans are so quick to grab onto any crazy theory in order to try to discredit President Obama.

They need to ask themselves why they are so open to hateful, stupid articles like these. They need to search their souls to figure out what it really is about Obama that bothers them so much.
