  1. I hadn't seen this pic here from the convention yet, and it's given me a laugh.

I know there are likely "Blue" and "Red" elevators, but…

  2. I just found an article in the NYT stating that Scty. Clinton will win by 76 percent based on the " Upshot's presidential prediction model"

    http://www.nytimes.com/2016/07/20/upshot/hillary-clinton-has-a-76-percent-chance-to-win-the-presidency.html?_r=0

The actual model is at http://www.nytimes.com/interactive/2016/upshot/presidential-polls-forecast.html

I am not nearly as politically astute as most of you all, but it seemed like a very hopeful article to me and it is an interesting read.

I've been having nightmares about Herr Drumph actually becoming our president.  I don't think our country is that stupid, but one of my favorite authors, Robert Heinlein, often said, "Never underestimate the power of human stupidity"

    Cheers!

      1. Thank you for the correction.  Please tell me that it is a positive article though.

Watching the Rethug convention now.  Lot's of Maalox beer on hand. LOL!

        1. From the article:

For now, at least, Hillary Clinton has a 76 percent chance of defeating Donald Trump to become president of the United States.

A victory by Mr. Trump remains quite possible: Mrs. Clinton’s chance of losing is about the same probability that an N.B.A. player will miss a free throw.

Yes, sure it's a positive.  We all may still want to brush up and practice some foul line shooting . . .

. . . beer's ok, actually it's great, but another 100 days without heartburn?  (Most have no idea how much stupid abounds in this country until they turn on a television.)

I'm not gonna' toss my Zantac yet . . .

          1. Thank you Dio!!

It sounds more like the coloradopols Big Line

My background is psyc … math was never my strong suit

I misspoke. Thank you for your courteous response.

            smiley

  3. SamCat inspired me to skim through The Big Line. Who is the sacrificial elephant in CD 2? Are they not worth mentioning, or could they not find a sucker for this fool’s errand this time?
