“The past is an old armchair in the attic, the present an ominous ticking sound, and the future is anybody’s guess.”

This year's GOP convention: giving new definition to "The Mistake On The Lake"
I simply am amazed at Leslie Stahls' interview with Donald Trump and Mike Pence on 60 minutes.
It is difficult to describe just how truly awkward it was. Dan Senor remarked afterward that he knows Pence very well and was stunned at the reversal in his willingness to be associated with the "Intimide".
I'm simply no longer amazed at the cravenness or lack of practicing ethicality of anyone in the Republican Party . . .
. . . the whole of the GOP is Dr. Drumpfenstein (both creator and enabler) to this monstrous clown.
Another way of saying what Mr. Thurber said:
Yesterday is ashes
Tomorrow is wood
Only today, does the fire burn brightly.
Good Monday morning to all
Libby Szabo on C-SPAN now . . .
Well, that was quick – and not memorable.
For a few glorious moments, a giant dwelled amongst us!
The Colorado deligation just walked out of the convention floor.
They don't seem to be getting much support from the rest of the dump Drumph movement.
Damn, I was kinda' hoping they'd all decide to stay and take up residency in Ohio!?!
