At least it is where I am.
That’s right, this post is from THE FUTURE!
Predictive coincidence: A few of us were sitting around, taking care of the first two letters in ATF, listening to one guy’s random Ipod playlist. As soon as the new year arrived, what song started playing?
That’s right, the Imperial March from Star Wars.

Seriously, Happy New Year to everyone, and may 2009 be a wonderful year for all!

Don’t worry too much about the Leap Second, it’ll be gone almost before you can say ‘Leap Second’.
Ok, so I told my clocks to all pause until a second elapsed. But with the clocks paused, no time is elapsing and so I’m still stuck in 2008. It’s awful, I will have George Bush as my president for eternity – the horror, the horror.
You should know by now to just get your time from NIST. The good folks down the road would never, ever, wish anyone to be stuck in 43-land forever…
Have a safe and happy 2009.
