Time to Poll!

  • by: Colorado Pols

With Democrat Rutt Bridges out of the race for governor, it’s time to poll again to see how the field looks now, and how it would look with new names. Former Senator Ben “Nighthorse” Campbell says he’s not ruling out a run, though we don’t believe for a minute that he would really run, and it sounds as though Senator Ken Salazar may be thinking harder about running for governor now. What’s next? You decide…

  1. I don’t think anybody is pretending this is a scientific poll. Of course it isn’t.

The poll is set-up so that you are only supposed to be allowed to vote once, but that doesn’t mean it always works for every computer.

  2. I demand to know why Herb R. is not on the list for potential candidates.

And, don’t give us this “he’s running for CD7” – he can still run for CD7 and could enter “Robot Herb” in the race for governor.

Robots of Colorado unite!  Robot Herb for Governor!

  3. Just for fun I am voting for everyone once or twice.  I will keep voting until the Cinderella story comes in. I love to just to throw the monkey wrench into the works.

  4. Perlmutter certainly has harmed himself for his run in any office.  If he can’t make up his mind, and doesn’t feel certain about what he is doing, then how can the voters vote for him?  Wishy washy candidates have in past elections lost badly …

NO one wants a wishy washy candidate …

    MAKE UP YOUR MIND …

  5. Your speculation about Ed Perlmutter thinking about running for governor is pure bullshit and you guys (the blogmasters) ought to be more respectful of your readers than to post totally unsubstantiated speculation.  Perlmutter released a statement today making clear he is running for Congress.  My guess is that whoever is whispering in your ears about Perlmutter either doesn’t have a clue, or is trying to create mischief for Ed’s campaign.

  6. For those who care about separating truth from fiction, I actually spoke to Ed Perlmutter early this morning (I am a strong supporter) and learned that he was on a fishing trip with Mike Feeley.  When I told him what was posted on ColoradoPols, he was NOT amused and told me in no uncertain terms that he is running for Congress.  That was at about 8:00am this morning — so anyone who thinks they have evidence that Ed Perlmutter spent the day musing about a statewide run is not engaging in truth and I would guess they are more interested in creating trouble for Ed.  Time for ColoradoPols to change the governor’s line again!
