While deleting e-mails this morning, I found something interesting I had missed. I got this a couple of weeks ago from a former associate who works for WORC (Western Organization of Resource Councils).
Some good info, therein.

Gee. How coherent.
We need to hear more bout this in the MSM and from Dem candidates. Yes the American Muslim community is helping us track potential terrorists. Trump, as usual, is a liar.

The Clinton Campaign has apparently been given enough of a nod to go about the business of moving the party into general election mode.
Her first order of business? Appointing someone to run the DNC. Although Debbie Wasserman-Schultz will remain tiitular head of the party, SEIU Political Director Brandon Davis will be taking over the day-to-day operations of the party as Clinton takes her place as presumptive nominee. One has to assume that Sanders was okay with this – and why shouldn't he be, since it gets DWS out of the way and puts a labor figure in at the top?

Sounds good. I don't know Davis but I long to see a true professional get that thing humming. SEIU has a top reputation and if Hillary and Bernie can buy him, I certainly concur.
Great news. It shows that Clinton is negotiating with the party's progressives in good faith.
Cookie asked for an update on the question of how Independent voters really vote. Here's one from the nation: they are actually partisans in most cases.

Here is an article by the authors of Independent Politics: How American Disdain for Parties Leads to Political Inaction which addresses who independants are not:

Donald "Smokin' Hole" Trump is having trouble keeping his own campaign from shattering, much less able to work with outsiders, like the RNC:
