The EMILYs List Battle

A battle is quietly underway in CD-7 over EMILYs List, the fundraising arm for Democratic women candidates that can often make or break a campaign.

Democrat Peggy Lamm has been heeding the advice of EMILYs List advisors and cleaning up her campaign staff and operations to better show strength (EMILYs List only backs candidates that have shown they can be strong candidates on their own), and the word in some circles is that EMILY has been impressed.

Supporters of Democrat Ed Perlmutter, meanwhile, have been engaged in their own campaign to prevent EMILYs List from getting behind Lamm.
