* Former House Speaker Andrew Romanoff

* State Rep Bernie Buescher

* Senate Majority Leader Ken Gordon

* U.S. Election Assistance Chair Rosemary Rodriquez

* Republican Gilpin County Clerk Jessica Lovingier

* TV show hoset Aaron Harber

* Democratic Party of Denver Secretary Dan Willis

A committee appointed by Governor Ritter will vet the candidates, and Ritter will make the final call. Feel free to discuss who will get the job and what the decisions of the applicants to seek the job mean.
