  1. With my other hand I am dialing GOTV calls.

With my other other hand I am drinking coffee.

With my other other other hand I am marking call sheets.

If I had a monkey tail, I would type more, but I gotta go and get out the vote.

  2. 80% reporting ( 78 precincts )

Candidate or Ballot-Vote Vote percentage Vote count

    Linda Newell (Dem)

    50%

     (25,491)

    Lauri Clapp (GOP)

    49%

     (25,378)

  3. Usually I’m not a fan of the Rocky Mountain News, but they seem to have the best page for state-wide results: http://projects.rockymountainn… What will the balance of State Senate seats be, including the toss up race in State Senate District 26 (Newell – Clapp)?

Think Ritter will pick Ken Gordon to be SOS?

    1. for a variety of reasons, many of them having to do with last year’s legislative session.

If, by some miracle of faith, Gordon gets the nod, CO will be worse off for it.

      1. “If, by some miracle of faith, Gordon gets the nod, CO will be worse off for it.”

Why do you say that? It seems he’s the most appropriate pick for the job. He would have been a hell of a lot better SOS than Coffman with all his corruption and purging of voter rolls.

Some folks (elitists) think the masses can’t be trusted to vote for our leaders. I’d love to see the Electoral College gone. Gordon is smart, he campaigned for fair elections, and sponsored legislation for National Popular Votes http://www.nationalpopularvote… that would essentially bypass the Electoral College. Each vote in every state should count and carry an equal weight. The current system is an anachronism.
