Remember, this might be the first time some people have heard of him/her, so make a good impression.

She doesn’t get my vote, but she gets my admiration for the strangest yard signs I’ve ever seen — burlap bags stretched over wire frames, looking more like tombstones than yard signs. They seem to stand up to the elements pretty well, at least.
Not what you expected huh? We are better off if the Republican party can figure out how to move into the future and be a strongly competitive party. Boulder & Colorado Springs show the ideological corruptiont hat comes from one party rule.
To be successful the Republican party needs successful moderates like Al White to lead. I wouldn’t call him my favorite as I disagree with him a lot, but I do think he’s the most important win.
An effective advocate for Eagle, Lake & Summit Counties, Christine is running against Ali Hasan, a wannabe with immense family wealth (he’ll spend upwards of 400k of his parents’ fortune in attempting to break into politics).
Living in your family’s 100,00sf Beaver Creek pleasure dome hardly prepares “el effendi” to understand what most of us living from paycheck to paycheck go through.
His platform includes taking wildland management away from the US Forest Service in favor of “local” control, relying on pheromones to repel bark beetles and becoming the main mover in building a monorail that would solve I-70 traffic congestion.
IMHO Hasan is our hegemon of hubris. Show some skill in governing locally, Ali. Only then might you be taken seriously.
Combining practicality with spirituality, this Crestone newcomer has a lot of potential. I voted for him. But don’t hold that against him. 🙂
Christine has worked hard on issues facing the mountain communities long before she was appointed to the house. As a strong member of the community in Summit County, she is in touch with the needs and issues facing the voters in the three mountain counties she represents. I just hope that millionaire pretty-boy Hasan doesn’t steal the election.
This lady works hard for the issues of the greatest importance to her constituents.
Ali ought to run for the Vail Council if he wants to be involved.
Probably the best voice we can send back to the State Senate to speak for the mountain communities. He’s incredibly energetic, and as a wildland fire fighter and Summit County resident he’s directly plugged in to forest health issues. He’s also been highly engaged in the I-70 mountain corridor discussions, which next to forest health is probably the single most important issue to his district.
to represent Summit, Grand and Gilpin counties. He is going to be a great leader for forest health and wildfire protection efforts.
With the departure of the esteemed Mr. Bruce, the legislature will be severely lacking in the smarmy blowhard department.
in the next six years. She has the ability to respond to citizens and get things done. She is definitely a great citizen legislator.
will be a great majority leader and has a future in the party.
