In the 2004 election 16.3% of voters voted early and 28.0% of voters sent in an absentee ballot. The total number of voters was 2,097,000. That was ~67.5% +/-2.5% of the voting age citizen population.
If turn out were the same as 2004 the 811,670 people who have voted so far would represent 38.7% of the total. Obviously early voting will be up this year and totals will probably be as well.
who have the advantage in early and mail-in voting with the rag tag Ds leaving it until the last minute? All over the nation we are seeing a D advantage in the early voting which strikes me as a sign that the Ds are on their way to a hell of a turn out. Game on.
