  • by: wtcb1013

Seems the State is now providing updated transactional reports on the 08 Election.

The report is located on:   Govotecolorado

The report is on the top of the page and has data current to last evening.  The report has four functional tabs and provides data on the following:

The data is organized by counties and provides an interesting look at trends within the state.

1.  Voter Registration Totals

2.  Mail – In Ballots Requested – by Party

3.  Mail – In Ballots Sent – By Party

4.  Early votes cast

Word from the State is the report is updated every Tuesday and Friday.  Also they are publishing nightly updates on govotecolorado.com.

  1. According to their numbers 22% of active voters have already voted. Anyone behind in the polls is now facing an even steeper climb because they already have @frac14; of the vote backed in and they have to not just pull even, but win by enough to undo the loss already voted.

I think Musgrave & Schaffer may have already effectively lost. We still need to fight like crazy because the polls may be off, but I’m starting to feel so very hopeful.

ps – I am working 24/7 this weekend, next weekend, & Tuesday doing whatever the Obama campaign asks me to do – with a slight break to see Obama on Sunday in Ft. Collins.

For all of you here – get out and help this weekend!!!
