McCain/Palin Faced With THE Leadership Opportunity of a Lifetime

This morning I attended the McCain rally as a protestor. I handed out some leaflets that were at times violently rejected. These leaflets simply brought people’s attention to the fact that Cindy McCain profits from selling a substance that is more harmful to the human nervous system than marijuana. The tone at this rally, where I counted 5 black people (3 of whom not of voting age) and about 30 Hispanics, reminded me of a white power rally. Most everyone was old and crazy. All they could muster were racial slurs, “TERRORIST” or “COMMUNIST.”

The most relevant thing I could think to say to the parade was either “think for yourself, question the media” or “think for yourself, question your parents.”

I’m sure it didn’t make much of a dent but I did it for the children.

Lately I have written some controversial pieces about the far-right evangelical McCain constituency. I have come to realize the parallels between this brand of Christianity and the tone at the McCain/Palin hate frenzies and that is that Republicanism and Christian Dogma view outside perspectives as heresy. The only response to which that we are seeing, is to spout off  bullshit manifested from thin air. I’ve noticed that the Democratic Party is welcoming people with various backgrounds whereas the current state of the Republican Party has no room for such a thing. They think that riling up the base is their way to victory but instead, this is a recipe for disaster for the Republicans, especially with the internet able to debunk so many hysterical stories at the speed of light.

Take for example the woman who carved a mirror image of a ‘B into her face and claimed that a big black man did it because he hated McCain. It was all a lie.  What a strange defense mechanism that was! And we have seen the insanity at their rallies over and over and over and over.

My point is not to rattle cages and point fingers, I want to see great things for this country and I believe if led by wisdom, we can have great prosperity. My goal is to bring to light that this type of behavior needs to be dealt with by their leaders or else it is exactly their doom. McCain and Palin are presently faced with the leadership opportunity of a lifetime. They can calm their flock and show that they are the type of temperament this technologically juvenile race needs to continue to thrive, or they can seal their doom and continue on their path of sensationalism, hatred, and ignorance

The choice is theirs. They will show their true colors.
