  1. The Palin / McCain camp only has older white people in their crowds. For me that is a huge red flag.

The Obama crowds look like my family.  Old, young, Black, White, male, female, gay, staight, city, rural, rich, poor and middle class. And not just the one token (fill in the blank) person they show over and over.

I LOVE IT!!!! This is MY America!!

  2. .

    Maybe you don’t get it.

Daltry is singing about not getting fooled again, because we are fooled over and over.

But think of his most memorable line from “Tommy,” at 8:00 into this video:

    same as the old boss.

Obama is one of 2 candidates representing the same corporatist party as McCain.

Change cannot come from someone who got where he is through the same old machine politics that got us into this mess.

    .

    1. But Change is almost never a overnight occurence either.

We need a President that will begin to aplly the brakes.  Then maybe in 8-12 years we can actually begin the rebuilding process.

Obama may be part of the system, but he has shown he can beat the system by beating the Clintons.  I know one thing for sure, with McCain, there is NO change.

The first step is to get Barack elected.  As hard as that is it is easier than step two; holding him accountable and riding his a** to begin the change he has proclaimed.

To change the system, you have to be part of it.  If I am wrong about Obama I will be the one working the hardest to get him removed ASAP….I promise that.

This time Obama, a relative outsider, and if he is successful, in 8 years we shoot for an Independent.

Thank you for your comments, they are dead-on.

      Matt

      1. But Hitler made change overnight too.

Lucky enough we are not quite at the level either of those countries were at the time.

        But we are getting close.

I guess when you hit rock bottom there is always a bounce.

Change when the country is split is much tougher to achieve.
