from ABC News we have
Rick Davis, campaign manager for Sen. John McCain, R-Ariz., just told Fox News Channel’s Chris Wallace that McCain running mate Gov. Sarah Palin won’t subject herself to any tough questions from reporters “until the point in time when she’ll be treated with respect and deference.”
Apparently Sarah Palin is so sensitive she cannot handle an interview with FOX News. What’s she going to do when she’s president and has to talk to our allies, much less some gentle souls like Putin?
ps – not front paged because she’s the V.P. candidate.

Yes, the press actually wants to ask Palin questions. You know, ask her about her policies and her record in order to inform the electorate about WHO SHE IS.
Deference ? What is this, a monarchy now ? Approach her with the proper courtsy, wear your best courtesan’s clothing, and never show your back.
Are you kidding me?
she won’t answer questions until the media shows some deference?
The media is far too deferential to political campaigns. It is the medias job to tear apart the campaigns (or elected officials) carefully crafted messages to get to an accurate picture.
If the media hadn’t been so damn deferential with Bush we wouldn’t have gotten stranded in Iraq.
Charlie Gibson will play hardball with her.
When is she going to do a press conference? Never? Wow, great VP.
