1. They're crawling out of the woodwork!

   Rick "Ooops" Perry's announcement that he's running is today! Expect a motion to continue his felony trial in Texas to be filed soon, citing the press of other business, including an expensive and time-consuming presidetial campaign, as grounds.

   Jebby's coming out party is set for June 15. The real surprise would be if he announces that the prospect of facing the next ten months (or God forbid, the next 16 months) being compared on a daily basis to his father and his brother convinced him to forego running. (That plus low polling numbers.)  

   And Frank Underwood's personal favorite for the GOP nod, Donald Trump, is set to make an announcement of his intentions in Iowa on June 16!

   It's looking like everyone except Mitt Romney and John McCain are getting into it!

Many honorable, hard-working students take the short bus to obtain the special services their educational plans require.  It is not fair to compare them with the current crop of (R) wannabees, most of whom are in it strictly for the attention.  I think clown car is entirely appropriate.

4. She's one of three Democrats who couldn't manage to get a score of 100 on the Women's Lobby of Colorado Scorecard, released yesterday ( http://www.womenslobbyofcolorado.org/wp-content/uploads/2015/02/Womens-Lobby-Legislative-Scorecard-2015-Final-2-2.pdf ).

   She helped kill an earlier, stronger foreclosure reform bill (HB13-1249), earning her an award from the Bankers Association, before she trumpeted her support for a watered-down version in 2014.

   She stayed true to her insurance industry roots by trying to hand insurers power to threaten criminal charges in connection with claims ( http://denver.cbslocal.com/2014/02/07/state-lawmaker-wants-all-insurance-fraud-to-be-a-felony/ )…because insurers aren't powerful enough already?  Sure, "fraud's bad," but do insurers really need one more piece of leverage against insureds?  If you don't get some number right in an policy or claims application, should that be held over your head as a possible felony to fight a claim?

   Staying with the insurance theme, she does not support universal health care…because, you know, fewer insurance profits to be had in that situation.

   Her name: Angela Williams.

   So why isn't someone running against her for Senate 33?  Doesn't SD 33 deserve a SOLID Democrat?

5. Who will be the first Tea Partier to publicly say the shootings in Northern Colorado are a leftist conspiracy to scare Coloradans into letting the government take away our guns?
