(coughbullshitcough) – promoted by Colorado Pols)

With all the hype that is suppose to be coming of Barack Obama’s VP pick, the DrudgeReport is breaking it before the campaign has a chance to send out a text message.

FLASH: Fri Aug 22 2008 17:52:03 ET /// KMBC’s Micheal Mahoney reports a company in Kansas City, which specializes in political literature, has been printing Obama-Bayh material… MORE… Gill Studios, would not confirm information about the material. They would not deny it either. At least three sources close to the plant’s operations reported the Obama-Bayh material was being produced…

…How does he do it? But who knows, could be another deflection? Might have been filling an order not from the Obama campaign.

  2. One Queer Dude says:

….maybe Drudge has got another story right!

  3. Dabee47 says:

that the Obama camp would contract a company to print materials before announcing the pick through their goofy text message system.  It’s like guaranteeing the pick would get leaked.

That said, I’d love it if Bayh is his VP choice…

….who had him in the office pool?

Compared to a SurveyUSA poll released eight weeks ago, when third-party challengers were not named, Daniels is up 2 points; Long Thompson is down 7. Daniels continues to lead in other regions of the state. 23% of Democrats cross over to vote for incumbent Republican Daniels; 12% of Republicans cross over to vote for Democrat Long Thompson. If it’s Evan Bayh and Obama-Bayh win, then the GOP is bound to pick up another senator without even breaking a sweat!

My money is still on Joe Biden, 65.  He’s got more Washington experience than Bayh.  Obama needs to do something to attract older voters and Evan Bayh is not going to do it.

Drudge is wrong so often yet so many go back to him for information. I think of it as the bug-zapper of the intertubes.

That said, it seems to be ABCNews, you know an actual news source, has broken the story that Secret Service has been dispatched to Joe Biden’s home.

The United States Secret Service has dispatched a protective detail to assume the immediate protection of Sen. Joseph Biden, D-Del., a source tells ABC News, indicating in all likelihood that Biden has been officially notified that Sen. Barack Obama, D-Illinois, has selected him to be his running mate.

Sources also tell ABC News that two others said to be finalists for the position of Obama’s running mate — Sen. Evan Bayh, D-Ind., and Virginia Gov Tim Kaine — have been told they have not been selected for the vice presidential slot.

Kaine flew to Denver earlier today, is in Denver tonight and has no plans to leave in the next 24 hours. Bayh is at his Washington, DC, home with his family.

Biden was last seen minutes ago at his Wilmington estate where his extended brood is gathering.

The Obama campaign would not comment, but Obama mentioned Biden twice in speeches on the trail this week, both times heralding his legislative leadersip in East Asia.

    Good job Tapper!

I hope it is Evan Bayh.  The New Democratic Ticket:  Obama-Bayh,Bayh (pornounced…Obama-Bye,Bye)

Almost as good as NObama!  LOL!

  9. DavidThi808 says:

If he was right (he’s not), then everyone bows down in awe. If he’s wrong (as he so often is), everyone forgets about it.
