and in honor of the Dalai Lama’s visit to Colorado this weekend, here’s a catchy pop song by Sherdan, the Tibetan Bob Dylan, to get your weekend off to its sizzling start.

  2. Aristotle says:

    It’s not pop, but it’s Russian…

… proving that “death growls” are equally incomprehensible no matter what language they’re in

I read a great deal of the “pontification” from several of Colorado’s Democratic and Republican political consultants in the news.  But I never know which ones have any credibility what-so-ever.  Can someone at Colordopols give us a rating on who this characters actually are? And weather or not they have any credibility?  Have they ever actually won anything?

  4. One Queer Dude says:

I’m filling out my primary ballot and I noticed that someone is running as a write-in candidate for State Board of Ed in C.D. 1 against Elaine Berman.  Who’s running, and what’s her or his claim to fame?

  5. dwyer says:

Berman was president of Denver Board of Education for years…until she was blessedly term limited …..if you like DPS, then, by all means, vote for Berman…

    If not, then ABB

that he knows how to win wars. Don’t ask how.  He never planned a war, served in a high command position in a war and the war in which he served wasn’t won. Granted not his fault.  Still, his real world experience winning wars?  Zero.

Now, he claims he knows how to get Bin Laden.  How?  Trust him.  He’s been there.  He knows Afghanistan.  Don’t ask where this intimate knowledge comes from.  Maybe he’s been sneaking into the country and roaming around in disguise speaking local languages with all and sundry.

No wonder he doesn’t take distinctions between factions, sects or countries seriously, doesn’t bother to keep his timelines straight. He just imagines putting on his super cape and presto!  He’ll win all the wars including new ones he’s itching for, get all the terrorists and everybody will be able to find free market affordable health insurance.  AND the rich can keep their huge tax cuts AND he’ll balance the budget. And, by the way, just because he ALWAYS votes against vets you can’t say he doesn’t support them. Just look at him SAYING how much he supports them. Noun verb war hero.

He and GW ought to be having a sleep-over making a tent clubhouse out of bunk beds and fighting over who gets to be the most powerful superhero in their let’s pretend games. It goes without saying that this personality type should never be allowed anywhere near any position of responsibility and authority.  Probably why the Navy made it clear to him he was definitely NOT on the Admiral track.

McCain may be old and grumpy on the outside but on the inside, just like Bush, he’s pre-adolescent. So hey, maybe he’s not too old after all.  On average.

    So, tell me:

if Ray Powers is the Old Guard in the El Paso GOP,

what does this say about Jeff ?

I heard that some lefty website is having a contest to name the supposedly blanket preemptive pardon that President Bush is going to give.

It’s supposed to cover all actions by any GOP partisans,

and it is intended to heal the nation.

I want to read the suggested names.  Anybody know who’s doing this ?
