what's your point? many of the Fox News "experts" are lacking in expertise. one of the few times I found myself w/ Fox on, they had an "expert" explaining how solar energy is much more dangerous than people believe.
Skin cancer is a serious problem, Frank. Especially if you are particularly pasty-skinned like some of us. Consider the viewership.
Just adjust the tin foil hats. Faux could run that as a public service announcement.
Heck, yeah, it's dangerous. Haven't you ever held a magnifying glass out in the sun? It can start a fire!
Apparently an expert on Fox is someone who puts whatever pops up on rightie sites out there as fact without bothering with any fact checking. Just think, anyone with a grumpy old rightie uncle who forwards stuff can make a living as a Fox expert. This really is the land of opportunity!
This last week’s news cycle threw President Obama two proverbial slow hanging curve balls he could have crushed over the center-field fence; showing leadership on two critical issues — the Department of Veterans affairs scandal and the horrific Islamist terrorist attacks in Paris. But, instead he took the softball pitches looking — striking out with the bat on his shoulder.

I'm not concerned over the French reaction. Obama is very popular in France and pretty much all over Europe. When I say his failure to send at least the VP to the march, or even to have the already present Holder participate, a major bone head unforced error, I mean for domestic consumption. For domestic politics and PR.
Obviously the WH agrees or they wouldn't have taken the unusual step of a no ifs, ands or buts apology. They wouldn't be saying flat out that it was a mistake. Further proof is that supporters are feeling compelled to put so much energy into playing defense. Smart political decisions allow your supporters to exchange high fives.They don't force your supporters to play defense.
In 2016 it will be easier for Dems to get elected if they don't have to run away from a very unpopular outgoing president. Bush and his wars being very unpopular on his way out helped elect Dem majorities and a black guy with a Muslim sounding name once upon a time, something that just a couple of years prior people were saying was still impossible here in the US. Just like so many Dems are now saying demographics make it impossible for today's GOTP to elect a president again. Stuff happens.
Obama's approval had been rising modestly but steadily since shortly after the crappy 2014 election. Anything that might tend to derail those modest gains can't be a good thing. Sure 2016 is far off in terms of bumps and valleys but every valley means bumps wasted and starting over to get somewhere. They should be avoided if possible.
And let's be honest. Wasn't the sight of all those world leaders marching arm in arm impressive? Yeah, I know. Some of them are total SOBs who have no freedom of the press in their own countries but I'm talking feel good optics with many of them leaders of countries that do share our values of freedom of expression and strong democratic institutions. Wouldn't it have felt a whole lot better to see our President or VP or SOS marching with them? Wouldn't it have been a whole lot better to be able to post pictures of that rather than looking for stuff to post to explain why that not happening was really just fine? I certainly think so.
