Round 5!!!

It’s Friday, so that means Survivor! Colorado Pols is back. We’re kicking off one person in each of the four polls from last week (for previous week’s results, click here).

Say sayonara to these politicos who are off the island:

Round Four Exiles
(D) Pat “Wha-happened?” Waak
(D) John “Where’s my Moustache” Salazar
(R) Bob “DeLay Who?” Beauprez
(R) Mark “Empty Threats” Paschall

Round Three Exiles
(R) Marc “Little General” Holtzman
(R) John “Just Stop Talking” Andrews
(D) Morgan “Lobbyist Killer” Carroll
(D) Ken “Walk This Way” Gordon

Round Two Exiles
(D) Peggy “Had a Little” Lamm
(D) Herb “The Robot” Rubenstein
(R) Marilyn “Marriage Maven” Musgrave
(R) Doug “Sue the World” Bruce

Round One Exiles
(R) Tom “Tom Tom” Tancredo
(R) Jon “Dildo Art” Caldara
(D) Joan “Don’t Forget the Hyphen” Fitz-Gerald
(D) Diana “We Can’t Think of a Clever Nickname” DeGette

Here’s the breakdown from round FOUR…

Democratic Poll #1:

With a whopping 90 votes, Democratic Party Chair Pat Waak is a goner. Senator Ken Salazar was a distant second with 27 votes, and Congressman Mark Udall was the low vote-getter with 4.

Democratic Poll #2:

Congressman John Salazar is off the island with 48 votes, nine more than Rep. Gary Lindstrom. State Senator Peter Groff is the low man this week with just 7 votes.

Republican Poll #1:

Congressman Bob Beauprez, you are dismissed. Beauprez picked up 52 votes to beat out Bill Owens’ 38. State Treasurer Mark Hillman was the low man with 7 votes.

Republican Poll #2:

In the most competitive race of the week, Jefferson County Treasurer Mark Paschall narrowly edges out Joe Stengel, 46-44. State Senator Steve Johnson was the low vote-getter with just 5.

Enough about last week…on to the next round!!!

We’re not adding any new names this week, so get to voting. As always, write-in votes will be accepted in the comments section.
