No 88 you’re not. I prefer “radical right” or “exteme right” to “Christian right”. The intolerance these people preach have little if anything to do with the teachings of Christ.
And by differentiating the “radical right” candidates from the “republican” candidates give good information to a voter about whom they may wish to support or oppose. I know several politically active Republicans who do not follow the “extreme right” philosophies.
