    1. So no to government telling you about water use in your shower but yes to government telling you who you should and shouldn't love and that you need spend nine months pregnant with your rapist's baby. Got it

        1. No problem going to comments though it  can be slow. If I get undefined at log in top right I have no problem logging in hitting any "reply" on any thread. I always, as a matter of habit, use my easy option for clearing everything, cookies, cached files, browsing history etc, every time a I get off the computer so I don't know if that has anything to do with my relative lack of problems.

          1. Wow this is weird. I was sure I posted this as a response to Dave's comment about having trouble with the comments. But this must be my mistake, must have posted under the wrong Dave comment. Anyway that's why it makes no sense here.

        2. I like the idea of police living in the communities where they work but as expensive and gentrified as so many cities have become I will say it must be tough on city workers, like police who are paid very modest salaries, to find affordable decent places to live in the cities where they work. Just sayin'.

    2. He doesn't like utility companies having eminent domain rights.  So he must disapprove of Nebraska's giving Trans Canada, a foreign oil company, eminent domain rights through Nebraska farm and ranch lands.

  1. Tancredo said yesterday that Beauprez would have to petition onto the ballot. Now, as I understand it, Beauprez has until March 31st to gather 1500 signatures in each of the seven congressional districts. Anybody have different information?

      1. I still come to Thursday's front page, with the signin open.  I get "undefined" when I sign in, but if I then click on any diary I'm in.  I navigated here by looking in the far right column for "recent posts."  I don't even know how to clear my cache in Chrome.  In IE I get to the correct home page and I'm signed in, but if I click "reply", I can't enter text to comment.

        1. I had to reregister with a new password.  I could also get to the Diaries, but did not think to use the "recent posts" to get today's posts.

  2. What?  No ChickenHawk cowardly trolls popping by to admit they were wrong in demanding unilateral US action against all our European allies in the Ukraine?  Shocking.

If only this guy were CiC the Markets would still be tanking!  Take that you damn Soviets! Russians!

      1. When did anyone last pay much attention to McCain's ravings? Besides the media and they still pay attention to Donald Trump's and Sarah Palin's ravings so….

    1. Yes. Making decisions without thinking is what we look for in in the people we elect to make life and death decisions with ramifications for millions of people that can go on for decades. Destabilizing the entire Middle East and beyond with the quick decision that we could invade Iraq and have Chalabi running the show for Halliburton in a matter of days, weeks at the most including time for cleaning up all the flowers that would be showered on us, is a perfect example of that kind of quick no think decision making.
