Senator Ken Salazar will be in Ft. Collins (and other places in Northern Colorado) next Thursday (2/21), but his event at the Lory Center on CSU’s Campus leaps out as a prime opportunity to let the Senator know just how wrong is his decision to trade civil liberties for the appearance of bi-partisanship.
What say we try to get a few folks (or a few hundred) together and let him know that we can abide fiscal diversity in the Democratic Party, or we can abide frank and diverging opinions about foreign policy? What he must never think to trade away are our civil liberties, and the rule of law.
I would like Salazar to know that his FISA vote robs him, in my eyes, of any moral authority to represent us.
It’s not to late for him to change. Let’s let him know just how important it is.
From the Greeley Tribune: “at 9:30 a.m. at the Colorado State University Beetle Kill Conference in the Student Center Theater at CSU’s Lory Student Center.“
