we do the best we can,
but realize that they are going to make their own bad decisions sometimes.
At least I can’t be held responsible for my oldest son marrying someone who is going to make a terrible wife, can I ?

was just a convoluted, contrived effort to get the Gazette to do a story on my approach to stabilizing Iraq.
I call it “Model Communities.”
It was never mentioned.
The only thing considered newsworthy about the effort
was that I was such a peculiar candidate.
At the Assembly,
the crowd interrupted my speech with applause when I talked about what success in Iraq would look like,
and how success would require withdrawal.
But then the Assembly selected the candidate that worked for SAIC,
a major defense contractor,
that was making millions off of the war.
Dems in CD-5 are against the war,
but not so much that they would back a candidate who would have ended it.
Can a political party have multiple personality disorder ?
You should run again. Think of all the great food you will miss on the campaign trail.
